Check out the latest DfT video and see what stardesigner Marc said at his speech about the award and the work with the the young talents.
When patron Marc Jacobs greeted the guests at the after show party for the Designer for Tomorrow award, the sun was still out after days of rain and everyone was watching a dramatic sunset at the rooftop terrace of Berlin’s Hotel de Rome.
The crowd was enjoying some smooth tunes by DJane Palina while overlooking Berlin’s skyline and winner Alexandra Kiesel hardly got to sip on her well-deserved glass of champagne – so many photos to pose for, so many questions to answer! Still wearing her ‚Marc loves me’ shirt from the catwalk show, the 29-year-old designer from Dresden dealt with all the new excitements in her very down-to-earth way. Apparently, Alexandra didn’t want to part yet from her models and had brought some of them along to the event, clearly standing out in the high-contrast colored designs and square shoulders shapes of her winning collection. What she did want to leave behind after a long day were her high-heels – the only high fashion item she has not really bonded with yet.
Loved the „Marc Loves Me“ t-shirt, Alexandra Kiesel’s winning outfit from this year’s DfT award show?! Both men and women’s t-shirts will be available in German Peek & Cloppenburg this week ongoing.
