It’s been an exciting and successful year for Designer for Tomorrow 2011 winner Alexandra Kiesel. Fashion design award DfT has accompanied the talented newcomer when gathering manifold impressions and inspirations: international textiles fairs, runway shows and exhibition experiences, insights into the daily fashion business of designer Marc Jacobs in New York, as well as managing her own atelier in Berlin.

While Alexandra is finishing her first solo collection to be presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin 2012,
